- Mustard is used in treating headache, cough and cold. Taking mustard baths gives relief from common cold, headache, etc.
- Consuming mustard seeds 2or 3 times a day helps in soothing the bowels.

Mustard should not be given to children because it may result intoxications in them. It should not be given to people suffering from dyspepsia.
